They have some good sandwiches and soups
They have Carrot Cream Cheese, Triple Chocolate Mackinaw Fudge, Chantilly, White Chocolate Raspberry, Creme de Menthe, Red Velvet, that I know of.
They are open under name of Beer City. They have some cakes but not the full line. They are also doing curbside not inside dinning.
We have gotten food from there once. It was good and priced well.
Armies is no longer there
$7.99-$9.99 and you get a free cupcake for dessert.😊
They do, yes.
I don't think so.
I believe they're closed on Independence Day.
Great beef brisket meal! Great service by Cameron and always the wonderful free Arnies cupcake!...one of my favorite places to eat!
Our breakfast food and service was great, but the 3 star rating is for the very poor engineering on sound control. The noise level from everyone was so loud and traveled a great distance our group had a hard time hearing each other. We also saw a group of four move to to quieter place in a corner away from the noise.
They serve a high protein salad with 50+ grams of protein and lots of fresh, crisp lettuce and various low carb vegetables that tastes great. I ordered mine with warm bacon dressing on the side...yum! Nice waitress too. I visited the E. Beltline location at about 4:00 pm great time of day too.
Went here on a friday evening with my girlfriend and it was great. Good food, good staff, great atmosphere.
Not the best. I ordered the cheddar cheese soup & it was super runny, not thick like it usually was. I'm not liking this "newer" location. The other location was much nicer and prettier than this one. The food just isn't as good as it used to be!
Good food at great prices. You can choose two items between salads, sandwiches, and soups for $9.99 - they even give you one of their in-house cupcakes for free with the meal. It’s a lot to eat and the staff was friendly. I’ll be back.
Good food at a great value with good service. Restaurant is warm and cozy. The duo / Pick 2 includes a full size sandwich, salad of your choice, and a cupcake.
Sometimes, you go to a restaurant without first looking up any information about it other than it's location. That is okay. After all, reading other people's reviews can ruin your opinion of a good place, or hype your opinion of a mediocre place. However, as you are clearly reading more than the location right now, there is something else you should also read. The restaurant hours. Especially if you are going out to eat at a non-standard time. When you order your food, and a few minutes later see the waitress also cleaning up and stacking chairs, you know you may have messed up. A good restaurant, especially one that gives you free cupcakes, does not deserve to have to deal with customers while they are closing.Order tasty food. Get your free cupcake. Relax and have a good time. Check to make sure you aren't being an inconvenience.
Spinach and tomato omlette was great and the service was even better. Really nice looking place as well. Great job Arnie's!
Might have been the best Reuben I've ever had. Crispy and delicious! The French Onion soup was good too.
We attempted to eat at arnies on the beltline tonight. We were told that they were short servers and would have to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated as well as the couple in front of us. We asked if we could at least be seated as I had my baby with us and she was hungry and just wait for a server. The hostess said unfortunately not. Only then to watch the group of 5 adults come in right after us while we were still standing there ask the exact same question and she sat them at a table immediately. Very poor customer service, need to be consistent with customers.
Great food, great place to talk away a weekend morning or bring the family. Courteous staff, generous menu options and portions, Arnie's has all of what a restaurant needs to become a favorite tradition!
Love the chicken pot pies but they were not hot enough this time.
Have the best chicken sandwich is town. Love the cupcakes. They deserve more then 5 stars. Congrats to the staff for the great business they are running
Service was awesome. Food is blah. Ordered patty melt. It was not a patty melt. It was a burger on rye bread. Onion was raw, cheddar not swiss. And the rye bread was 3/4 of an inch thick making it impossible to eat normal. "Kids" grilled cheese was also super thick bread which my kid could not fit into her mouth. Common Sense would be helpful on their food.
The latest menu changes are excellent. Sous vide steak and meats smoked in-house?! Meals include a cupcake. We've always had cheerful and attentive servers and the dishes we have ordered have been of GREAT value!
Absolutely amazing steak. Cheap, juicy, soft, absolutely delicious. Soup was great. Comes with free cupcake or ice cream.
Great food! Affordable prices. Cozy environment, and excellent baked goods!
We really enjoyed the original location. The piano, the plants, the lighting. The new location is loud, fake plants and very chain looking. With that said, our service was good, food was good. I was disappointed to see my favorite sandwich was not on the menu, but found something different to try. Luckily the Riveria salad is still a choice. The bread with tomato bisque and oil was a nice touch prior to our meal.
First time here and it was amazing. Zach was a great waiter and earned the tip he recieved! He checked in on us, offered to go drinks, and gave us a four pack of cupcakes to go! It was great food and cheap for 3 people to eat! They have awesome gourmet cupcakes! Definitely a new favorite spot in Grand Rapids to eat, will be returning next time I'm in town!
This place has a lot of homemade products and their food is always on point. Good prices, great food, and their customer service has always been fine. A great place for breakfast/lunch!
Good quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Get a free small cupcake with lunch meals. A little slow at times to get seated or waiting for waitresses to order. Food good quality, not overly expensive.
Good food, prices and service
My family stopped here during a short trip to Grand Rapids based on a recommendation. We are so glad we did! All of our food was delicious and our server, Kassie, was great. I had the best grilled cheese and tomato soup ever, and my husband was very happy with his rueben. Our son is a picky eater, so we were happy that he loved his chicken tenders. To top it all off, we tried the Snickers ice cream pie and it was incredible! We wish they would expand to the east side of the state so we don't have to wait for our next trip to Grand Rapids to visit again.
Food was good. Good prices and the complimentary cupcake sealed the deal
I ordered the Cuban and it came with a free cupcake. The sandwich was good but the cupcake was amazing.
Great restaurant large menu with a lot of different options. They server breakfast until about 2 so you can get breakfast food at lunch. It can be crowded at lunch time so except a little slower service. Food comes in really big portions so you will get your money's worth, never have had a bad meal here. At lunch you get a cupcake with your meal they have like 10 different choices. They also have a attached bakery with some really good home made bread and pastries. All and all Arnies is a great west Michigan restaurant they have a bunch of different locations in the grand rapids area and they are all just so good as this one.
This Arnies is so much nicer than the other ones in the area, the ceiling doesn't amplify the noise as the other ones do, you can actually hear yourself think.
Fast and friendly service with great prices.
Great place to eat, alone or with family, with good food and good value
It has always been good. I stopped in to see the "remake" of the concept. Looks like it is coming along great! Can't wait until it is done and see it all finished. Beer City!
Jennifer was an excellent table attendant. Even with the few snaffoos, she was quick to provide help and just a great server. The fellow at the register, on the other hand, did not bother to look at the back of my card requesting ID. When I mentioned would he like to see it, he said he didn't really care. Might need a little tightening of his CS skills.Regardless, awesome dinner, will be back!
The food is always okay or just above at Arnie's. It's really hit-or-miss I'm the type of service you're going to get here.
This is the CenterPoint location. They're changing the brand. It's now Beer City Bread Co. The Pizza is really good! The fish tacos need some work but they're trying.
Great food, homemade chicken pot pie, yummy!
A Grand Rapids institution. The new Brisket sandwich was great!
Good food and service at this location. It may be a bit hard to get in and out of the parking lot but this is my favorite Arnie's around! Make sure to get some bakery items when you leave, you won't be sorry. I love the healthy choices on the menu; like the salad I had last week.
The bakery is wonderful. So many delicious breads, cupcakes and other delicious goodies to take and eat.
Clean, Great Service, Good food and reasonably priced.
Delicious food, large portions, free cupcake with meal, & very affordable 😊
Love their cupcakes and larger cakes. Their breads and lunches are awesome! Don't forget the cheesecake!
I ordered the smoke pork sandwich and a salad, delishious but you need a larger bowl or plate to mix up the salad, diced tomatoes, bacon bits, etc. They come not mixed and the bowl is too small to toss the salad. Very generous purportions. Very tasty.Choose 2for $10 deal.
Service was excellent, great atmosphere, I had the smoked pork sandwich, was absolutely delicious, and messy, the sign of a good sandwich. And to top it off, they give you a free cupcake for dessert! Will have to come back and try more of their menu!
Good food, short wait... Nice staff. Pretty good overall.
Food is consistently good, management is good, especially the night we were there. Sweet hostess that night too.
When a friend and I went to Arnie’s, the restaurant was going thru a renovation. Even though seven tables were empty, many customers were waiting to be seated. When a customer wrote her name ahead of ours on a waiting list, we complained to the hostess. The surly hostess was unsympathetic to us. So we went to Russ’ where we were immediately seated and had a great meal. Arnie’s needs to improve its management.
Service was fast and friendly. My fiance and I both had the French Toast breakfast specials which were great, and our meal started out with warmed cheese danishes which were delicious. Orange Juice was fresh, and French Toast was made from homeade bread cut nice and thick. Meal was very affordable. We will both definitely be back soon!!
My breakfast meal was good and my server was courteous. I had the meat lover.
Good pizza at very reasonable prices!
Ericka, our server, was wonderful. 26 people descended and she handled herself great. Friendly, funny, efficient and never seemed over well.I had the Reuben sandwich and French onion soup. Both were delicious.Wishing for an Armies to come to Lansing!!!
